4 Day Bodie Photography Workshop June 15-19, 2025
This once booming mining town with its abandoned buildings and derelict vehicles has become a Mecca for photographers. Normally the park is closed in the early morning or in the evening when the light is best. For this workshop we have arranged access for a small private group to shoot in and around the Ghost Town during hours when the park is closed to the public. Here is your opportunity to take some uniquely beautiful photos and help preserve what we love– Bodie State Historic Park. A portion of your workshop fee goes to help fund the Bodie Foundation in its efforts to preserve Bodie for future generations. Itinerary
- Sunday June 15: 4 PM Lee Vining Meet and Greet, Mono Lake Sunset
- Monday June 16: Bodie Sunrise Session, afternoon individual instruction and Mono Lake Milky Way
- Tuesday June 17: Image processing instruction and first Bodie Sunset/night photo session
- Wednesday June 18: Image processing instruction and second Bodie Sunset/night photo session
- Thursday June 19: Drive Home
Cancelation Policy: Putting on a workshop takes a lot of time and research, not to mention a significant amount of money for permits, fees and insurance. Consider buying travel insurance. Knowing you have trip cancellation coverage can make a big difference should you have to cancel for some unforeseen reason.
- Cancellation made more than 90 days prior to the workshop is fully refundable.
- Cancellation between 90 and 45 days prior to the workshop is refundable less $450 fee.
- The fee will be reduced to a $50.00 Administration Charge if we can fill your space.
